Elementa HD brings new gameplay ideas to the strategy card game / CCG genre, providing a rich gameplay experience unencumbered by deck management or hidden charges. While the game includes a single-player mode, this game is highly recommended for those looking to battle their friends or compete in the leaderboard.

Relying on their cunning, users play cards to evade or unleash attacks while morphing between three elemental forms: earth, fire, and water.  Players battle in 1-on-1 duels, trying to stay one step ahead of their opponent and exploit their weaknesses. Consume a wooded defense with a barrage of fireballs, or quell a fire defense with a flash flood.

Fire is weak against Water, strong against Earth;
Water is weak against Earth, strong against Fire;
Earth is weak against Fire, strong against Water;

The objective of the game is to reduce the opposing players life points down to 0. If both players reach 0 in the same round, the game is a draw.

Players can choose from three different elemental states: Fire, Water, Earth. At the beginning of each match, the player starts in a randomly assigned Elemental state. Throughout the match, players can choose to "morph" or change their elemental state. By morphing to another elemental state, a player can strategically take advantage of the fact that each element is strong against one of the other elemental states and weaker against the other. Additionally, if the Player attacks using a card whose elemental state matches the current elemental state (called a “Match Attack”) of the player, he or she can deal additional damage or gain a bonus.

Each Element is strong against one type of Element and weak against another Element. This means that if a player receives damage from an Element that they are weak against based upon his or her elemental state, the damage they receive from that card’s attack will be multiplied by 1.5.

During each round, a player can choose to play one of the cards in his or her hand to deal damage to the other player or “attack”. There are two types of attacks that a player can use depending upon his or her current elemental state: a regular “Attack” and a “Match Attack”. A “Match Attack” occurs when the player’s elemental state is the same elemental state as the card he or she is using to attack. This “Match Attack” generally deals more damage and/or provides the player with an additional bonus (draw additional cards, discard cards to deal additional damage, etc).
